Obangsaek began with a question asked somewhere over East Asia during a virtual flight:
What if every flight had a purpose?
Not every journey has to be the fastest.
Not every airline has to be the biggest.
Not every community has to be built around numbers.
Sometimes the destination matters less than the story you create getting there.
Inspired by a deep appreciation for Korean aviation and the values it represents—professionalism, hospitality, discipline, and quiet excellence—Obangsaek was created to bring pilots together through meaningful flying experiences. We aren’t here to recreate a real airline. We are here to create something uniquely our own: a place where purpose matters more than hours, where every route has a story, and where pilots from around the world are welcomed by a shared passion for aviation.
The name Obangsaek comes from Korea’s traditional five colors, representing harmony, balance, and direction. Those same principles guide every decision we make and every flight we fly.
